My name is Sierra, I'm 31years old and have over 11 years of nanny and babysitting experience, with tons of experience with infants, toddlers, and elementary aged children. I used to work as a babysitter, joined SeekingSitters professionally, and then transitioned to my own independent professional nanny service (in Florida - my hometown is Jacksonville). I'm a park ranger during the summer season, so the last few years during the winter I've worked with a few different families as a longer-term nanny (Nov-April or May), with a wide are range of kids, toddlers, and babies. I also worked for Seattle Nanny Network in 2019 doing backup care for many families. Aside from that I've held other jobs and volunteered places such as YMCA and Museums for summer camps, working with children of all ages. Even when I'm a park ranger, I work with young children doing the junior ranger program. Read more I would be a perfect fit. I am fun, friendly, patient, active, engaged, well-educated, reliable, and creative. Besides the work history, my life long hobbies include reading, cooking, art (drawing/painting), outdoors activities, and playing guitar, among many others. All of these hobbies and skills are perfectly translated as a nanny. I love reading stories to little ones, playing guitair/lullabyes, and planning fun arts n crafts projects to do with the kids. I would be able to do all of this and more! I am also an excellent chef, so I would be happy to cook and prepare healthy and delicious foods (healthy cooking is a hobby of mine, but I was also a chef at Whole Foods in the past). Your little ones would be in safe hands too, during my time as a professional nanny, and as a park ranger especially, I was trained in all measures of safety and security. I'm also currently First Aid/CPR/AED certified, and I'm a certified interpretive guide (educational programs), and the head of the interpretive program at my parks when I worked for WA State Parks. I'm a wonderful teacher and role model and hope to get back into being a babysitter/nanny again ASAP, as I miss being around children and can't have any of my own right now, so this would be ideal.
