Are you looking for a fun, professional, and punctual sitter for your little ones? I could be the right fit for you! I currently live in Boise but am from the Sun Valley, Idaho area. I graduated with a Psychology BS from Boise State University in December (2015). I am taking a break from school but plan to continue pursuing a BBA in Accounting and minoring in Human Resources. I am 35 years young and the oldest of seven children. As you can imagine, I have been looking after my siblings from a young age. The youngest two children in my family are twins. I also began watching neighborhood children and eventually ended up with a few clients who I tended for regularly. I cut back my clients a few years ago to focus on school and my full time job as a bookkeeper. I am currently a full time Read more nanny to a 3 and 4 year old. I usually work M-F 7-5 and am pretty flexible outside of those hours. I am looking for fun families to sit for and enjoy long-term working relationships with my clients. I am a fun and creative babysitter who likes to focus on activities and crafts rather than TV time. I absolutely believe in putting the children first and love to teach new things. (For example, at a recent job I had the opportunity to teach the children how to 'flip a coin' to decide the order of our activities and it worked out great!) I think gentle correction is most effective if conflict should arise and firmly believe in ‘talking it out’. In my experience, the children respond well to my approach. My rates for babysitting are $15/hr for up to two children and +$5/hr for each additional child. I realize these rates are somewhat higher than other sitters. I firmly believe that you get what you pay for. I have a ton of experience with all ages and am willing to take on multiple families at one time. I do my best to tidy up after our activities and believe in leaving a place better than I found it. I try to create games with the children so they can help, too. I specialize in being available at the last minute or 'on call'. I am available most evenings and weekends and can do overnights as well. I do not have any children of my own yet so I love spending time with little ones until I decide to start my own family. I have my own reliable vehicle and a clean driving record.
