Hello, my name is Tia. I am the neighbor that always has all the kiddos asking one, "Auntie can we come play in your yard? Can we come play at your house?" None of the kids ever believe my bio age because I'm a huge kid at heart, very outgoing, energetic and LOVE to encourage creative/imaginative play for not only my son but all kids. I have decades of experience caring for children and am professionally licensed to teach Visual Arts k-12 (and have taught) in 3 mainland states, have years of experience in Early Ed, and as both a full time nanny & part time caregiver (primarily with infants and young children). Aware of growth milestones I can implement and even provide suggestions on how to support your young child in meeting growth milestones. I have helped many families overcome attachment anxiety, bedtime bottle weening, sleep schedules, compliance issues, Read more and with a plethora of other situations. I am currently working on obtaining my RBT certification to work in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis, and have a lot of experience working with special needs children, especially those on the Spectrum. I am also the mother of a very sweet, spirited 3.5 year old boy, step-mommy to my sweet 8 Y.O. Alex (diagnosed with AU at 22 months), doggy-mom to our Harley Girl, and an Army wife. Currently I am looking for some part time or short-term jobs to help families while I am working towards obtaining the credentials needed to start my new job. After which, I will still be available, but around those work hours. Currently my hours are pretty open/ flexible even for last minute care.
