Hi! My name is Jermaya, but everyone calls me JT. I'm a 21 year old full-time Psychology Pre-Med student and also a single mom to a wonderful almost one year old daughter, which has given me valuable firsthand experience in caring for young children. I am currently looking for babysitting opportunities that allow me to work in the comfort of my home while I balance my studies and parenting. Growing up in a very large family as one of the middle children, I was always given the caregiver role for my younger siblings and cousins, which allowed me to develop a natural affinity for working with children. Throughout my life, I’ve always enjoyed being around kids and have gained hands on experience caring for kids of various age groups, especially toddlers and preschoolers. Now, as a mother myself, I have gained deeper insights into the needs and joys of parenting. Read more I decided to become a caregiver because I truly believe in the importance of nurturing and creating positive experiences for children. I love doing this because I get to make a significant impact in a child's life, providing them with fun, safe, and engaging environments where they can learn and grow. I find joy in seeing their smiles, hearing their laughter, and knowing I can be a huge impact in not only the child’s but the parents’ lives as well. In my experience babysitting, I often take children outdoors to parks or fun activity spots, as I feel it’s vital for them to enjoy their childhood and explore the world around them, especially since nowadays the world is so different. I have a variety of kiddie toys and snacks ready, and I ensure that any environment I create for kids is safe and stimulating. I'm very open-minded and accommodating, always willing to step in and help where needed. I believe that my background as both a babysitter and a mother, coupled with my compassionate nature, make me an excellent candidate for this position. I am passionate about creating a nurturing environment for children, and I look forward to the opportunity to make a positive impact.
