Hello there! My name is Selena, Ms. Lena as most of my kiddos & families affectionately call me. I have been working as a nanny since 2009 when I had my first family of two boys for the longest stay I’ve cared for for 6yrs and still to this day I am regularly involved in their lives! That’s a huge belief for me as I want to not only care for the child(ren) but become an extension to the family and their needs. I have my own vehicle that's in great driving condition along with a great driving history and up to date valid insurance if the job would require travel. I am CPR & first aid certified and for the last 7yrs I have added a new licensing of sorts to my résume as mommy to a special needs child! So with all of those new everyday skills adapted it’s only enhanced my professional skills for my kids there. I also have been a kindergarten & daycare teacher previous to becoming a nanny as well for about 4yrs total. Education & foundation forming/learning from infancy is a huge part in being a nanny/babysitter as I love to see how they grow & develop and begin to use the skills & teachings as they become older or as time goes by that I’ve been caring for them! I have many references I’d love to share of the families past & current I’ve worked for. My son is in elementary school now so my schedule hours of full time availability have changed a bit so I currently am more open for part time hours which are mainly in early mornings thru early afternoons with flexibility of late afternoons and/or weekends if a prospective family is open to my son joining in care in the afternoons as my previous families have been thankfully.
