I am an experienced childcare worker. I worked in a daycare for two years, and received all of the certifications that go along with that including CPR/First Aid, Lifeguard Certification, and Fire Safety Training. I worked with ages from 6 weeks old to 11 years old. I have also worked with children who have many different mental or physical handicapps. (Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Deaf/Hard of Hearing, Asperger's, ADHD/ADD, Autism) I worked in a nursing home with my mother for a few months where I would clean the occupants rooms and keep them company. I would routinly talk to them for about an hour a day, and then move on to the next room. I am the eldest of 3, the rest are boys, and the oldest of all my cousins, so've been taking care of and disciplining children my entire life. It comes natural to me now. I am Read more 100% okay with all kinds of pets (cats, dogs, birds, fish, reptiles, etc.) I am also 100% okay with doing light cleaning (dishes, sweeping, vacuuming, etc.) while I watch the children if I come to your home. I am fine if you'd rather drop the children off at my home to be watched during the day. My littlest brother is 5 years old, so he will be there sometimes to just visit me, so your children will have a new friend. I do not work most holidays, and Dec. 3rd, Dec. 7th, and Dec. 8th are three dates that I will not work. I would prefer to not work very late into the night because I have a hard time driving at night because of my eyes and glasses. I do work weekends, and the occasional late night, date night. I have no problems with a late night Friday or Saturday every other weekends because I believe parents do need time to themselves.
