Meet Kyiah

Hello! My name is Kyiah. I am 18 and currently a student at College of Coastal Georgia. I am a nursing major and aspiring to be a Pediatric nurse because I love children. My bestfriend , Angelica is also a nursing major at my college and we’d love to babysit together, considering we worked at the day care together , so I am really looking for a job where me and her both can babysit for the same family. I still will work at my day care job on breaks and summers. That job consisted of me working with infants , all the way to 11 year olds when they needed holiday care. Being around children and watching them grow is really my passion and I love it so much. I love being a sitter because it allows me to make a positive impact on children's lives. I find joy in experiencing their growth and development, and I feel a deep sense of fulfillment knowing that I can be a friend and put a smile on their faces, while also showing them love and care. In terms of skills and training, I was certified in CPR and First Aid, but I believe it expired this past May. Although, I know that I can still handle emergencies with confidence, I am very open to redoing my certificate if need be. I have also taken multiple online training classes that were required for my previous job , and I have the certificates. I am very patient and empathetic, qualities that help me connect with children and understand their needs. My precise and calming nature ensures that I am always attentive to details, whether it's following parents' instructions or maintaining a clean, organized, and fun space for the kids!
