I am a mother of 2 with a love for all children. My passion for childcare is something I developed at a young age. My mom did in home childcare for 10 years and I couldn't help but love and cater to the children right along with her; some of which I still keep in touch with to this day. Children are our future, and we must go above and beyond to give them the best opportunities for success. I began doing childcare in my church at 12 on Sundays and Wednesdays and I started caring for some of those children in their homes so that parents could work or just get out of the house for a few hours. I began working in childcare professionally at the age of 18. I started as an assistant teacher working with 2 year old's and over the years worked my way up Read more through each age group, became an Assistant director and eventually a district trainer, teaching other teachers how to maintain a classroom from ages infant to 6th grade. In the classroom I created fun and exciting curriculum that encouraged children to explore and learn through play and I enjoyed teaching other teachers how to do the same thing. Working with children can be hard but it is without a doubt the most rewarding work.
