Hello,🙂 my name is Aundria.I’m 25 years old. I’ve been babysitting and watching children for quite some time now. My mother owned a daycare as I was growing up; In which put me in position to gain a passion for children. As I got older I was able to help out in the daycare quite frequently. I’ve watched up to 6 TODDLERS at ONCE ! Yeah 😅. So multiples experience is a check 😉 . Anyway as my passion for the kiddos grew I decided to branch off into the older group of kids as a teacher/counselor at a summer camp of ages 4-13. Here is when I got a chance to build my skill with the big kids as it was a success. I realized I’m a big kid myself! I’m active, full of energy, athletic, loving, caring and selfless. I will make every second count with the kiddos. Read more About a year ago I earned my credentials as an RBT. Where as now I work with children on the spectrum & when I say I absolutely LOVE my job. That’s when I realized I had a true gift. Working there has been nothing less than amazing. I’ve learned a new level of patience I didn’t know I had & new strategies. We hired Aundria to take our son to school in the mornings. We were blown away by her very professional manner. However, that is the only good thing I can say about her. Before we hired Aundria, we asked her to come to our house to meet our son. Since this was a driving job, we also wanted her to know exactly how much driving was involved. After the first week Aundria let us know she would no longer be able to take our son to school for the agreed upon pay. At which time we agreed to a new rate. (Red Flag No. 1) During this conversation she mentioned to us that she doesn't like to drive. (Red Flag No. 2) Over the next week and a half Aundria picked up our son and took him to school without any problems. She then asked us to pay her double her current rate. We declined her demand at which time she put in her two weeks’ notice (Red Flag No. 3) Later that night she called to apologize about her hasty decision at which point we agreed to another rate increase. (Red Flag No. 4) After 1 day of this NEW agreed upon amount and calling in sick the next day, she let us know that her two weeks’ notice remains in effect (Red Flag No. 5) After which time we decided to part ways with this sitter. This sitter requires payment upfront and expects to be paid even if your child is sick. However, she refuses to return the money she has not yet worked for. This has been one of the most unprofessional sitters I have ever met, and I would not recommend her at all.
