Hi, my name is Evonie Harris. I graduated from the Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science and Technology (GSMST) in 2018, and I currently attend Georgia State University. I am enrolled in GSU’s Accelerated Nursing Program and am on track to graduate with my BSN in the winter of 2021. After working as a Registered Nurse for a short time, I intend to go back to school to become a Nurse Practitioner. Aside from my education, I am the oldest of 7 siblings with various ages, and I have cared for my younger brothers and sisters on numerous occasions over many years. I volunteered for a year at my church every Sunday as a 4th and 5th grade leader where I dove deeper with my students to better understand the message of the day through games and activities.
