Hi there! My name is Haley Black, and I am a senior at Kennesaw State University. I have always had a natural draw towards working with children and there is nothing more exciting to me than shaping little minds while empowering kids to be their best selves. I am currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and am student teaching at a school in Marietta; and this opportunity is the last step I will take before receiving my Bachelor's degree this upcoming Spring. I became sure that working with children was the role for me upon working as an After School Program intern in early high school, where I first felt a calling to the career of Education. Every year since I have worked as an ASP Instructor with a variety of age groups and continue to grow in my professional role by working in this capacity, currently holding Read more a position as a Kindergarten ASP instructor at Murdock Elementary. I will soon be taking a break from Murdock ASP to facilitate more flexibility and time in my personal life for academic obligations while preparing for the beginning of my career as an Elementary Educator. Outside of my professional ventures, I have also had the joy of working with children in one-on-one capacities through babysitting and nannying for many families throughout the years (mostly based in my hometown of Savannah, GA.) I am looking to find more families to work with in the Marietta area and would be honored to provide care for your child. I am CPR and first aid certified, and have additional training in Suicide Prevention Protocols as well as mandated reporter training. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out!
