Hey my name is Lakenya Powell. I have two girls. I obtained my associates degree in Early Childhood Education in 2014. I have been working with children since I was 17 years old. I have background experience and training working with children with learning and behavioral disorders. I am CPR/First Aid Certified through Red Cross. My certification doesn't expire until 2019. I am very passionate about children and have always had a passion to work with children. I treat children as I would want someone to treat mines. I am a woman of Christ. And I respect anyone's religion preference. Let me back up some, I discovered my passion for educating children when I was 13 years old. And when I got older I wanted to follow what God had called me to do. I feel that education and children share ties because they are very special and very important. I am very caring, loving, nurturing, reliable, and willing to take any other training that I may need to take to increase my chances of me being able to do my very best at my job. I am fun and when I'm teaching I incorporate fun during teaching moments to keep children interested in learning. I am a very clean person. I do not smoke nor drink. I also do not do any recreational drugs and I'm willing to take a random drug test if needed. Prices are negotiable.
