Hi there! My name is Alden and I’ve worked in childcare settings off and on for most of my life. My first sister was born when I was 9 years old and my dad traveled for work so I very closely helped my mother in caring for her as well as my second sister who was born about a year and a half later. I went on to assist my mom as she taught K-8 art classes as well as assisting various teachers within that school, babysitting my siblings and various families around town, assisting with younger level Girl Scout troops, and helping out in the special education classroom during my lunch breaks in high school. Most recently, I worked five days a week as a nanny to four children, one of whom had special needs. I was let go when the families fifth child was born with complications and Read more they couldn’t afford to pay for daily childcare but I was invited back to babysit for date nights on multiple occasions. I would love to one day attend school for early childhood education and special education with a goal of teaching Pre-K through 1st grade. I have so many happy memories of teachers and caregivers from my childhood and I would love to provide positive memories and experiences for future generations.
