Hello There! My name is Montana, I'm a 27 year old who finds joy in the little things that life has to offer. Coming from a large Catholic family, I learned from a young age to care for everyone equally and love them through the storms. I began my journey "professionally" caring for little ones around the age of 15, when I too was still learning about the world. From there I went on to graduate high school from Westminster in pursuit of a Biology degree from the University Of West Georgia. I graduated with a 3.8 in Biopsychology and returned back to Augusta in hopes of getting into Medical School. Being that I've grown up in the city, I was flooded with inquiries from my past employers asking me to tend to their children while I had the summer off. I took a full time position for a Physician's Read more family of 8, ages 1-10.... It was one of the best experiences to date. Messy, but worth it! I worked with the family for a little over 3 years transporting the kids to and from school, extracurricular activities, doctors and dentist appointments, therapy, you name it, I handled it; in a minivan to be exact! Many times, I traveled with the family on vacations for weeks at a time and was responsible for their well-being just as if we were at their home. I was also responsible for keeping the kids safe and at bay while business trips, and college football weekends occurred. Cooking, cleaning, and LOADS of laundry were just a few of my daily tasks. Others included constantly providing a child-friendly environment with engaging activities, helping with homework assignments, getting the kids ready for school, loving them & being there for them as a "stand in elder figure" since their parents were working 60-80+ hours a week. I am CRP and Fire Safety Certified. I have extensive knowledge & have worked closely with special needs children including; Autism, Aspergers, and severe anxiety. I am a goal oriented leader who is constantly upholding excellent problem resolution capabilities. I strive to succeed in all tasks thrown my way and I can promise you that your children, no matter the circumstance or time of day, will be loved on, cherished, nurtured, and affectionately cared for.
