Hi there! I'm a classroom teacher that is a kid at heart. I've been an educator and caregiver for 10+ years and I tutor students of all ages in literacy (Orton Gillingham background) and math for grades k-5. I pride myself on connecting with kids first to help them be their best and brightest selves at home and at school. As a caregiver, I have the most experience with children ages four and up. I tend to let the little ones guide our time together but I'm also happy to turn on teacher mode and come up with fun and engaging activities for us to do together too! It can be as involved as us doing homework and maintaining structured routine together or hanging out at a park or spending the day playing games. I'm also happy to do light cooking and cleaning when needed. I have my own transportation.
