I am Vilma-Aigné Holmes and I’m so excited to be working with your family!! I am in my senior year at Georgia State University majoring in Early Childcare. I sought to major with children particularly Birth through 5, because I have a deep sincere love for infants, babies, toddlers etc. you name it the little ones bring me so much joy. My love started while being raised in my Grandmother's day care along with my other grandmother owning her own daycare and I wish to soon take on the tradition of owning my own one day. I have been caring for children privately for many years and I have worked with children of all ages. I love how infants develop so fast in recognizing our language. Knowing how to reciprocate it is the most amazing thing to me! I never get tired of the hugs and high fives when little Read more ones grow to trust and be comfortable around me and I love making them smile and laugh. I pay attention to activities and interests that carry characteristics that will more than likely be a major part of their personality. Dancing, singing, favorite snacks I pay attention to it all and pick up on what makes them upset to know how to comfort them when necessary. Just because they are small they are so genuine, smart and become their own person sooner than a lot believe. A little about me: I am originally from Massachusetts and have lived here in Atlanta for a few years. I love to sing and was raised in a choir as well as my grandmother's daycare as mentioned before. I studied esthetics as well as early childcare. I enjoy movies, spas, doing makeup, going out to eat and journaling. I also love art, animals and am very family oriented. I come from a home with 7 siblings. Two brothers and 5 sisters but I primarily lived with four sisters and my mother. .
