I'm the oldest of 4 kids, I was basically the 2nd mother in the house. I babysat my younger siblings constantly, and helped out a few families too. I have experience putting multiple children down for the night as well as meal prep (I enjoy cooking; I even find it fun and exciting to come up w/ new and unique ways for the picky eaters to get all their nutrients). This was all when I was underage, so unfortunately I don't have any professional experience to give you. What I lack in professional experience I make up w/ a natural talent for mothering/nurturing. I enjoy taking care of others; there's nothing I've found quite as fulfilling as taking care of children, how happy it makes me knowing I'm giving them the attention they need, from helping them build better habits to finding new hobbys they can't get enough of. I'm Read more currently a Registered Pharmacy Tech, but after doing 6+ yrs I'm finding it's not what I was meant to do. They say if you love your job you won't work a day in your life, and that's what I'm looking for. I have the same schedule every week M-F 9a-5p. As soon as I find a regular nanny position I'll leave my current job. Until then I'm available M-F 6p-8a Free on the weekends. If you prefer I can babysit at my home. I live w/ my husband, 15yo sister, and cats. I have a 2012 Mazda cx-9, so plenty of room if you need me to bring all the kids to run errands or just leave the house for a bit. You're probably also wondering if I have any children of my own, unfortunately I'm still waiting to start my family but until then I would be thrilled to help yours. I look forward to moving on to a different career that will give me the fulfillment I've been yearning for. I plan on getting First Aid/CPR/AED-BL certified, it'll probably be happening mid to late November. I'm covid safe and ALWAYS wear a mask when I go out, including all day at work. I wash my hands constantly. I'm aware that I may have my pay high for someone at my professional level, I just marked it at $15hr because that's what I make now. But I'm definitely open to adjusting that amount if I can work a job that brings a smile to my face everyday, so please, don't let that number frighten you away.
