Hey, my name is Dakota. I love working with kids and I would love to work with your family. I am 18 but I have had lots of relevant job experiences. When I was 15-16 I worked for a cleaning company that cleaned houses, so I know how to keep a clean space. From 15-17 I worked for a catering company, I prepared food, set it up at location, delivered it to location, and served it to the clients. I have a certificate for Culinary and Food safety and I can cook most basics and occasionally beyond that. I love to bake in my free time and try out new recipes. I am dairy-free and my family has more allergies so I am very capable of cooking allergen free. Besides baking, I love to read, sing, and do arts and crafts. Reading at home on a rainy day is my Read more idea of a perfect day. I am very musical and will often hum without realizing. I have been in band and choir for 6 years through school and was able to get a solo at my graduation choir concert. I like painting, drawing, and making friendship bracelets, this is something I like to do with kids as well. I am CPR and First Aid certified as well as being a certified Swim Instructor. I have taught kids to swim this year and love watching them learn something new. I'll be taking online classes at UCF this year and I plan to get my degree in Social Work. I am very introverted and shy but once I am comfortable in a situation I can be really high energy. I love to laugh and make other people laugh. I'm a little weird and silly but I like it that way. I love to have everything planned but I am also spontaneously spontaneous. I think that this works well with kids because you want to have plans but you also need to adapt quickly in order to provide the best care. I am patient, kind, and fun but I also know when to be serious. I truly believe that I would be a great fit for your family and I can't wait to meet you!
