Children have always been drawn to my fun loving, imaginative personality. When interacting with children, I like to get down to their level and see the world through their eyes while giving them proper guidance. Being raised in a big family myself, I’ve found it effortless to be patient, kind, and understanding, even in difficult situations. I have over 10 years of experience babysitting children from 0-3 months to 16 years old; this includes children with autism, disabilities, and requiring administering medication. I also have 12 years professional experience in cooking, including 1.5 years at a Memory Care facility. I understand the utmost importance of following the proper diet, avoiding allergens, and food restrictions. I have a Certificate in General Studies completing courses such as: Nutrition, Health and Safety, Curriculum in Early Childhood Education, Child Growth and Development, Families in Transition, Medical Terminology, Psychology, and Public Speaking. One of my Read more proudest moments in college was in my ECE Curriculum course. I created my own Entomologist themed prop box and a lesson plan centered around it. My favorite part of babysitting is getting to be a kid again. I love their inquisitiveness and eagerness to learn and do more. Some of my personal hobbies include playing with my dog, cooking, crafts, painting, drawing, hiking, and reading. I have a reliable vehicle, comfortable with pets, able to do light housework, fun, interactive activities, meal prep, and homework help.
