Hi! My name is Karla and I have loved working with children from a young age just helping my mother babysit. In high school I took courses and trainings and worked in the in-school daycare to gain experience working in a classroom setting. I took courses with DCF to get certified to work with children. After graduation I finished taking all the courses and test to get my 45 hours while also getting CPR/first aid certified. I worked 6 years in a day school setting working with children of all ages from the age of 1 to 13 years old as an assistant VPK teacher and lead afternoon teacher for the afterschoolers.
