Hello! My name is Akter/lexi and currently reside in Tampa, Florida. I am 24 years old and am going to university to achieve my bachelors in Psychology. I have been working with children for the past 8 years starting all through my high school years in California as babysitter and tutor. I have worked with all ages from a newborn to 15 years old. I have some experience with special needs as well. I simply love children and enjoy being there to help them learn and grow. Growing up with 3 younger siblings of my own made me realize my immense joy of being responsible for taking care of and nourishing children. It is always my goal to create a safe and stimulating environment for children where there is endless fun, smiles, and laughter while settling limits with positive discipline, genuine praises, and encouragement. Some of my most enjoyable hobbies are drawing, painting, crafting, sewing, designing and taking part in many types of outdoor activities and trips. I also love to listen to many types of music from around the world and of course learning about other countries and cultures. I am eager to to be able to share my knowledge and creative skills with children's full of creativity of their own and their never-ending curiosity! I currently work as a tech at a optical clinic. I am available just about anytime since I create my own schedule. I can work weekends and overnights if needed as well! I would be more than happy to provide reference upon request.
