Hi! My name is Paloma. I am a Freshmen in college and I moved here this August from Miami for school. For 5 years, since I was in eighth grade, I was employed at my local elementary school and community center as an assistant for after-school computer science classes and summer camp. The last two years I was promoted and became the teacher of the program which was an amazing experience. My job and the recurring students are one of the things I miss most about home. The only thing I miss more is my family. It is very big and there is a constant string of babies being born 😂. So even before my job as a teacher, I’ve had to look after little kids and always enjoyed it. Their curiosity, sincerity, and concern always makes kids fun to talk to. When it comes to their tantrums and fits, Read more I always do my best to make them feel understood and try to present them with choices they feel they’re making themselves. I also like games and sweets waaay more than I should, so maybe that’s why I get on with kids. I’m available Monday- Thursday after 6 p.m, after 9:30 a.m every Wednesday, and select weekends! I hope I can make your family’s life a bit easier! :D
