Hi! My name is Lattoya and I am a student studying Psychology with a minor in Childhood Development at Florida State University. I have worked with children my entire life. Being raised by a single mother, I've had to look over my younger siblings and other children in the neighborhood when their parents needed help. I have worked as a BRACE Cadet with Broward County where I personally guided students through their college, financial aid, and other post-secondary plans. I also have medical experience and volunteered with West Regional Hospital in Broward County and VITAS healthcare in Miami-Dade County. I am trained in "Stop the Bleed", CPR, and AED. I have experience working as a Nanny with Twinkle Toes Nanny Agency where I provided care through following organized meal guidelines for toddler-aged to school-aged youth. Throughout the day as a nanny, I allowed and encouraged artistic fun as well as Read more read-along activities to stimulate an active imagination. Recently, I worked at an overnight camp as a counselor. This entailed a weeklong training on safety precautions and using empathy to build connections and respect with our campers. As a cabin leader, living in a cabin with 7 children aged 10-12, I followed a routine to keep the children excited and participating in the individual and group activities that I had planned for them with the help of my team.
