Hi there, My name is Mariana Mackinnon! By day I am a Mental Health consultant for children who are preschool age. By night I am... your sitter? I clearly love humor and try to bring positive energy anywhere I go. I am trained in utilizing different therapeutic modalities with children and families and this is where my heart is. I graduated from Florida Gulf Coast university with my Bachelors degree in Social Work in 2020 and then returned the following year to pursue my advanced standing (shorted and more intensive) program in Clinical Social Work ( 21'). I chose this field because I have always had a passion for helping others and I find fulfillment in empowering other individuals. I think the beauty in what I do is helping others realize that they have always had the keys to the life they want, they just needed some help finding the Read more potential within themselves. I strongly believe in transparency, positive/constructive communication and kindness. I love my current full-time job but student loans do not pay themselves! Just looking for some supplemental income at the moment to achieve my financial goals. I have my Pediatric CPR Certification and I currently have certifications from DCF courses as this is a requirement to work at the preschool I am based out of.
