Meet Yarennis

Hi there! I'm a college student at FAU. I have experience working with children ages 3 to teens (open to working with all ages). I’m passionate about working with children and enjoy creating a positive, fun environment for them. At my previous job in afterschool care, I was honored to receive the “Most Empathetic” award, which reflects my patient character. I love to connect with each child and adapt to their unique needs and personality. I've had the opportunity to care for kids from diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities. I'm very outgoing, friendly, and I love making kids laugh while helping them with homework or guiding them through fun, engaging activities. I’m dedicated to ensuring your child feels comfortable and happy. In addition to working at a childcare job back in my hometown, I also have personal experience volunteering with kids in community centers and have grown to learn Read more valuable skills over the years. I have CPR training and was certified two years ago (though I have not yet renewed it). My schedule is fully open for the entire month of December while I’m on holiday break, and I’d love to help out with your childcare needs. Starting in January, my availability will shift to weekends in the afternoons, but I'm always flexible to accommodate your schedule.
