Hello, my name is Emma and I am an energetic, hardworking college student who loves kids.:) I have been around children my whole life. Being half Mexican, I of course have a huge family with many younger cousins and siblings. Growing up, I was paid by my aunts to take care of my cousins while they were working. In addition to taking care of their kids,I cooked and cleaned around the house and did small chores such as feed the dogs. I had a great time taking care of them and that is when I knew I wanted to do this in the future. Being ten years older than my brother Daniel, I also took care of him when he was first born since both of my parents worked full time. Since I usually took care of him at night, I had to change many diapers, bath him, feed him, Read more and put him down for bed. Doing this almost everyday really gave me good experience with newborns. My aunt Eli has been a babysitter for over 20 years and takes care of many families at a time. For the past 8 summers, I have worked with her to help her babysit. I am incredibly grateful that she lets me work with her because it has given me great experience with taking care of kids. One summer, one of the families she babysits for went on vacation to Savannah, Georgia. Her and I were asked to accompany them on their trip to help take care of their children. For two weeks we spent almost every waking minute with the kids(keep in mind there were 5 of them). It was nice spending most of my time with the kids because it helped us bond and made my job much more rewarding. I loved it because it gave me knew learning experiences that I couldn't get with other babysitting jobs. What I like to do when I babysit is keep the kids happy and engaged. I like to play games, watch movies, and do other fun activities with them to keep them content. I don't get impatient easily so it's easy for me to take care of younger children and newborns. I also like to do light cleaning around the house such as the dishes and other small chores. Considering all that I have said, I hope that I can be a good match for you your family and l look forward to possibly working with you:)Thank you.
