I have been an Auntie since I was 9 years old so I have plenty of experience with children as I have helped raise my nieces and nephews since they came out the womb. I’ve also helped in the past with the children ministry in the church. Children are humans too and should be treated as such. We shouldn’t be so quick to punish them when they do something wrong because usually there is an underlying issue and unfortunately acting out is sometimes a cry for help. It’s important to have that open line of communication where they will be comfortable telling you things without feeling judged or getting in trouble.
