My name is Danielle, I have been working in child care for about 13 years, two of those years were in 2 different preschools, where I was a teachers assistant. At one point I ran the after care in one until being offered a full time position. One preschool was Primrose and the other was a Montessori school, which is where I was eventually offered a full time position. I am also a mom and love working with children. There are many great nannies out there, many who are not yet moms but I think being a nanny, who is also a mom, can provide extra experience and help you relate even more to feelings and views other moms have, through shared experiences. Turning the TV on or electronics are not my fist choice, unless of course parents say that it is okay. Usually I like taking walks, going to Read more the playground, playing games, crafts and educational activities. With it being FL, it can be too hot at times, so of course I won't put kids through that 😉, and we can do inside activities, the same goes if it's too cold, but we all know there are unfortunately not very many of those days if any. 😊 With having experience as an educator, I love doing educational learning. Finding ways to engage and teach children, with age appropriate activities. Hopefully we will get the opportunity to speak more about your ideas and expectations for your child/children.
