*Not currently looking for work* Hello! My name is Skylar. I just moved to Florida from Ohio this past summer due to getting married and my husband being in the military. I graduated college from a small school in Pennsylvania, Westminster College in 2021 with a B.A. in Child and Family Studies. I have much experience working with children of all ages. I began working with kids in high school, working various babysitting jobs. As my first job, I worked in a daycare for 3 years while in college and after graduating college, I began working as a Registered Behavior Technician for children with autism. I have a year experience in working with children with autism and have found it to be a true passion of mine. Currently, I am working as an RBT part time with children with autism, waiting to start my masters program in Applied Behavior Analysis Read more to further my education in my current field. My interests include sports as I played soccer for 20 years. I love spending time outside, going to the beach, practicing yoga, and spending time with friends and family. I value the importance of being interactive and intentional with children not only to connect with them, but to help them learn and grow with every experience. I do not mind doing additional things around the house to help out such as cleaning, cooking, transportation, etc. I am very kind, caring, trustworthy and easygoing. Your children will be safe and have fun while in my care. I am First Aid and CPR certified. (Not sure why my profile says I speak 2 languages, I only speak English)
