I am a retired preschool teacher, looking for a part-time job doing what I love to do. I have my Child Development Associate certificate in ages infants through VPK. My husband and I were foster parents in North Carolina and here in Florida taking in mostly infants. We ended up adopting 3 of our foster infants. I have worked with infants needing special care and those that didn't. They all got spoiled equally. I read, talk, and try to sing to the infants for communication development. I exercise their arms and legs for physical development. I love to take the children outside, not so much as fresh air, but to have them use their five senses: feeling, seeing, tasting, hearing, smelling. Infants can learn a lot if you spend time with them. I have 5 children, 2 are grown with their own children, and my adopted children are still home Read more with me. My husband is in a nursing facility due to Parkinson's disease. I would love to have the chance to take care of your little one. I have pets at home, so no worries. I live just west of Newberry city. I am available any day and any times. Thank you for letting me tell you a little about myself.
