Hello there! My name is Oriana, an aspiring pediatric neuropsychologist and a current research coordinator for an early childhood behavior lab with kids from 12-18 months of age. I have worked at another pediatric department lab, and worked one-on-one with autistic children (specifically toddlers, ages 2-4, and completed specific developmental training and received certification using floor time strategies) as an autism specialist before. I have been a sitter for my 7-year-old niece for several years since she was a baby. As you can see, my whole life revolves around kids! I teach Sunday school for 2-4 year olds in classrooms of generally 20-35 kids. This builds my credibility and showcases responsibility. Having experience taking care of my niece when she was born means that I am able to care also for small children that need feeding, diapering, and dressing. My preference is to take care of toddlers as I have more experience with them, but I do not mind if they are older as I am very flexible. I'm an attentive listener and can pick up on cues and intentions to provide the best quality care for your child/children. As for who I am- I was born in Argentina and am half Russian from my father's side. I am fluent in English and Spanish and very culturally open-minded. I am a compassionate lover of the arts and the outdoors. I enjoy writing creative pieces and poetry, photography, dancing, and painting. I grew up very spiritual, so I enjoy meditating, reflecting, and actively working on my inner self. I go fishing regularly, take up boxing classes, and enjoying exercising to keep healthy. As an owner of three cats, a hamster, and with a partner who takes care of six fish tanks- you can tell I have a deep fond for animals.
