Hi my name is Amanda Hariraj. I have been a babysitter/care giver for about 4+ years now. First thing first i am fully vaccinated with all 3 shoots. I am cpr trained and first aid trained (for babies & adults). For the past 4+ years i have worked with 11 families. I stopped working with most of them because they kids grew up, they moved, or they children started daycare. Children are my passion i used to work at South Lake Pediatric for 10 months until i came back to new york. I volunteered and worked at childrens hospitals, daycare, and fundraiser. From ages newborn to 24 months i help the babies work on rolling, crawling, sitting up on there own, holding there own bottles, a little bit of speech, not to much screen time, try to get them potty trained if possible, and walk. From ages 2 to 5 Read more i like to do activities with the kids including drawing, panting, reading, puzzles, and all sorts of games. Try my best to keep them away from the screen as well. I also do homework with them and tutoring. Also i am very big on healthy lunches/meals. From ages 5-10 i like to do more sports activities and crafts with them, do to the fact that they are older and it might help them down the line. I give a little of bit more screen time to the older kids. I do homework/ tutoring with them. Also healthy meals and lunches. After my shift is over i usually like to tidy up the play room and the areas the kids were in to when i turn the children over to their parents/guardian they don’t have to worry about cleaning.
