Hello! My name is Jaclyn. Some of my favorite hobbies include art and music and would love to share and teach these hobbies to your children if interested! I started learning how to care for children at quite a young age! My mother worked for preschool in my hometown when I was in middle school and I would often visit after school and help during the after care. In high school, I spend my first three years in Early Childcare Education classes where we would learn all about the physical and learning developments of children. I spent many hours creating lesson plans and eventually received my CDA and CPR certifications after taking all of the required tests and being assessed in my high school’s daycare program. I spent many days in this program helping to care for and teaching a large class of children. In my senior year, after receiving Read more my certification, I became a “directed studies” student, spending every day in the childcare program (sometimes twice a day, as I would also go to the program during my study class period), and was able to form personal bonds with many of the children and learned about the specific needs that each individual child required. I am also a huge animal lover and can assist in providing care for many different pet species, including birds and reptiles!
