Hi there! My name is Keana, and I'm a 2015 graduate of Indiana University with a degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Psychology. After graduation, I work at a therapeutic clinic for children with autism. I gained a lot of experience and knowledge in terms of working with all types of children, particularly those with special needs. I absolutely love children of all ages and love watching them develop over time I also spent a summer in Barcelona, Spain working as an au pair for three young kids (3 months, 3 and 6), where I both worked for and lived with the family full-time. I was solely responsible for facilitating the kids' activities, meal prep, errands, light housework, and anything else that was needed. Most recently, I worked full-time as a nanny to two awesome kids in Denver, age 6 and 9. I've been consistently babysitting/taking care of children since I Read more was about 12 years old, full-time nannied for the past several summers and volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club in college/at various after-school programs in high school. About me: I love to travel, cook, read and be outdoors as much as I can. I do enjoy doing housework and meal preparation and anything else, so I would be able to help with whatever is needed. I grew up with dogs in my family and worked at a pet kennel as well, so I am perfectly comfortable with animals if you have them. Although I am currently employed full-time in the corporate world, I've always loved working with children and enjoy the experience, so would love to find that with another great family on a part-time basis. I am currently looking for a part-time or as-needed position, since I am working 10-5:30 Monday through Friday. I would be available for early mornings, date nights, weekends, or overnights.
