I recently graduated from Gainesville High School's Academy of Future Teachers. I spent the second half of my junior year interning at Westwood Middle School for 6th-8th grade theater and 8th grade Cambridge ELA. During my senior year I interned in a first grade class at Talbot Elementary. I've also been a class assistant at Doxa Dance Studio for five years where I worked with kids between the ages of 2 and 8. In the fall I'll be going to the University of North Florida to major in Deaf education. Education and early childhood are very important to me and I believe that the best way for kids to learn is through play. I loved working with my students in all of my student teaching experience and I believe I learned just as much about life from them as they learned from me!
