Hi, my name is Amy and I attended the University of Florida where I majored in Biology and graduated with honors. I am very passionate about working with children and have worked with a wide range of ages since I was in high school. I volunteered at my local hospital's daycare and then would coach tennis as a camp counselor for three consecutive summers. When I attended school at UF I volunteered with child life at Shands hospital for 2 years where I worked with pediatric patients that were various ages. I've also had experience volunteering with holding babies in the NICU and helping coach tennis to autistic children. I was an active volunteer with a middle and high school developmental program in Gainesville helping to teach tennis. I love getting to work with kids and coming up with fun creative activities. People close to me would describe me as Read more comforting, cheerful, adventurous, and attentive. During my free time you can find me playing tennis, biking, enjoying the outdoors, or cozied up with a good book and trying a new baking recipe.
