Meylin was so amazing with our baby and watched her for a period of 6 months and the only reason she is not our sitter anymore is because we moved out - of-state. Please read below for how amazing she is because our baby had several health issues and Meylin was fabulously thorough, trustworthy, kind, patient, honest, and literally one of the best people I have ever met! - Meylin watched our little one from the age of 8months to 14 months. She impressed me right from the start - right from the interview with her honesty. She wanted to make sure I knew that she had no experience with babies. Her candor is rare and I could tell immediately she was more concerned with honesty and welfare of our baby, than her getting a job. In the beginning she started out as part-time but later she extended her schedule to about 32 hours per week. She was always flexible and accommodating. - Our little one has several respiratory issues, to include sleep apnea and aspiration - meaning she aspirates or chokes on liquids because the liquid “goes down the wrong way” into her trachea so we have to take several precautions or extra steps to prevent choking or life threatening events. - Meylin went through extra pediatric CPR and choking training for this position and we even reviewed “what if” scenarios together - Our little baby loved every day spent with Meylin and she was so good about education and fun games with our baby also; I would never in a million years believe she had no prior experience with babies - Please feel free to contact me with any questions or references !
