Hi, my name is Brooke. 5 years child care experience and accredited DCF child care 45 hours. I am currently a full-time stay at home mom with 3 children of my own, 2 which stay home with me during the day while the oldest attends school. The 2 that stay home with me are 5 months old and 5 years old. I’m looking to go back to work, and my 5 year old starts Kindergarten this year. So it will be her baby brother and I everyday starting August this year. However I would rather be with my own infant daily than to put him in child care. I have over 5 years of child care experience working with all age groups. But my strong suit is caring for infants, as I was a lead infant teacher for most of the 5 years that I was in child care. I Read more chose to stay home when I became pregnant w my 3rd child because, sadly, working in child care I’ve witnessed far too many teachers, directors and owners of the facility simply not care for the children on the level that I believe they should. It has always been a passion of mine, and comes naturally to me to care for, nurture and teach children. I treat all children as I would my very own and I feel that I would excel with caring for children at home and being able to work more one on one with those children and with their parents and family as a team. I am looking to watch 1-2 infants/children Monday-Friday, I’m also willing to work with almost any schedule. I would prefer to care for them in my own home since I have children as well. I also have a small puppy about 3-5lbs. I would prepare, cook and serve meals according to the time they are in my care. Depending on pay I would also be willing to provide said meals, snacks and baby food. (Not formula). I would also, of course, have a set daily schedule and nap time routines( if necessary). As well as regular education, book reading, arts & crafts etc. I’m willing to accommodate any child and discuss varying schedules that fit for you.
