Hey there! My name is Marissa and im an energetic, active, kind, and loving college graduate who loves kids! I was a family, youth, and community sciences major with a specialization in special education at UF! My passion and joy in life is to work with kids and help them learn and grow in every aspect of their life. I have had paid working experience with children for 7 years now. But, before that, I helped in church nurseries quite often along with other volunteer work. I was a personal nanny for a family with 2 young boys for over a year before I left for college. I have worked at the local YMCA, a preschool, a summer camp, and I'm currently employed as a Special Education Teacher in Alachua County. I've worked with infants all the way up to middle school aged children. I am CPR and First-Aid certified, Read more and I've also completed my DCF 40 hour training. I have a great deal of experience with kiddos who have disabilities and have my RBT certification. I enjoy cooking, being outdoors, playing games, crafting, and spending time with kiddos. They bring so much joy to my life and I'd love to welcome yours with loving arms!
