Hello! My name is Katie and I believe I was put on the planet to take care of children :) I had numerous babysitting jobs and coached cheerleading through high school and college. I became a Registered Nurse in 2005 and worked in a Pediatric ICU for almost 13 years before making the difficult decision that it was time for a change. For the last year, I have been lucky enough to work as a private Nanny for my niece. It has been such a wonderful and special year! I began working full-time when she was about 2 months old and am currently still caring for her and assisting in the transition to daycare. As the Nanny I not only took care of the infant, but Mommy and Daddy as well! :) I helped with cooking, cleaning, laundry, running errands, pet-sitting, and my personal favorite, shopping! I am very organized, Read more friendly, kind, compassionate, empathetic, knowledgeable, and very sensitive to the way each parent wishes their child to be taken care of. I genuinely enjoy getting to know people and it makes me very happy when I am able to make others happy! That's my favorite thing to do!
