Hi! My name is Vanessa but I go by Shyann! I am 19 years old and love working with children. I have been working in childcare at a high rated daycare for 4 years. I have learned many skills at this daycare that I continue to use in my everyday life. I currently work as a VPK teacher but I have experience with all ages. I have floated through school age children and toddlers. Childcare is the most rewarding job I’ve had and I love teaching and seeing the “ah ha” moments children have. I am the only girl in my family and that has made me very responsible and mature. I have caught myself watching over my older siblings even when they didn’t know or understand why. Working at a daycare and having these experience has helped me tremendously to this day because I have learned so much. My Read more patience has improved and I have learned how to effectively help the children when they are feeling down or cannot express their emotions. Working in childcare has taught me that every child is different and there is no “one size fits all” in caring from children. I am open to helping with housework and any work seen fit. I will always ensure your child and animals safety. I am CPR and First Aid Certified if that is ever necessary.
