Hi there! My name is Ashley. I recently graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Florida International University just a few months ago. I am not working currently because I travel back and forth quite often (my fiancé is in the military and is stationed in New Jersey while my family is in Miami). The good news about not working is that it means I am available most of the time to help you with whatever you might need! I am great with kids and I love them! I worked as an after school care teacher in an elementary school for one year. I also volunteered at a summer camp for toddlers ranging from 1-3 years old for two years. I can double as a tutor and help with homework. I can help with anything from Pre-Algebra through Calculus, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, English and writing skills! If I Read more am out of town, I can video chat whenever you need so that your child does not fall behind in their studies or homework! I speak Spanish. I’ll admit that it’s not perfect, but I am close to fluent! I can also cook and clean if needed. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile, and I look forward to meeting you! P.S. If you have a child with an illness or disability, I would love if you could schedule a day for me to watch how you care for them before the actual babysitting date (free of charge). I do not want to accept a job if I feel I cannot meet their needs in any way. Safety and providing the correct care for your child are my priorities! P.P.S. I am very allergic to birds, so I cannot work in a home that has them. Some other animals might cause me a reaction as well. (ferrets, gerbils, mice, etc.) Dogs and cats are perfectly fine though! I apologize for the inconvenience. Side Note: If you would like for me to teach your child beginner’s Spanish, we could arrange that separately!
