Hi, I’m Taneka and I’m currently a basketball player overseas awaiting my next contract. I absolutely love working with children, and I typically spend my off-season/downtime investing in youth in various capacities! I have extensive experience as a youth sports coach, youth mentor, and summer camp counselor. I have also done some substitute teaching. I have a lot of energy and a playful personality. As an athlete, I also know the importance of physical activity for children’s cognitive development, so I will have fun and engaging activities to keep your child active! I love caring for children because it allows me to be the positive example that I had as a child. I’m also able to help families while taking a part time/temporary position in my off-season.
