My names is Darshini. I moved to Florida about 2 years ago from CT. I have my pros and cons about florida but who doesn’t lol. Since a young girl I’ve always had the desire to care for little ones as a older sister I always wanted to care for me younger siblings and was always playing the “mom” role. I cared for children pretty much all my young teenage years and continued to be a care taker on separate occasions. I am very adventurous love keeping myself busy and learning new things. For fun I enjoy hanging with family and friends, riding bikes, and cooking. I’m looking to care for one or two children. Although caring for children can be exciting yet a challenging job with times like these, I know parents just look for someone who they can trust with their children and it is scary opening your Read more home to someone who you just met. I understand that, which is why I always like to introduce myself and allow parents and children to get a feel for who I am prior to any commitments. I do have a full time job which is why I can only be available from 5am-2pm. Excluding Fridays and Saturdays in which I am available all day. I love being around children and because I do plan on possibly caring for two separate families I would not be able to work from your home. Also with my adventures ways I do like being outdoors and active with kids along with learning time. I will have a schedule for nap time unless your child already has one. We will have a set schedule on breakfast, snack time and lunch. Manners is a huge deal to me if your child is a toddler and just starting to learn about manners be sure they will be going home and always using manners with please and thank you also your welcome too. It’s important to me not to just watch a child but teach them about right and wrong and expressing feelings and emotions. I’m not a typical sitter, I go to the extreme to be the best possible role model and care taker because that’s my passion. I have no pets, I do not smoke, I have my own home and transportation. My line is always open for any parents whom child is in my care. Meaning at any time or day you can call, FaceTime or text to make sure your child is doing well. I do like sending photos and update on how the kids are doing typically during nape time or down time. Rest assure your child will be in good hands when in my care.
