Hi, my name is Derrick i love being a sitter bc it allowes me to help the children in my care grow and learn at their own pace and trust me i have a mountain of patience. My experience includes working For the Siegal JCCs (The jewish community center) Summer camp program camp jcc where i would prepare allergin free snacks, transport sick or leaving campers, fill in for councilors and in cases of emergency i would preform first aid/Cpr. As well as the summer camp program i have also worked during the school year for their after school program where my fellow councilors and i would facilitate a safe and friendly environment that supported growth, learning and building connections with other children. My training includes conflict resolution, basic child psychology, cpr/Firstaid, administration of medications, driving experience, health and nutrition, allergin detection and prevention.
