I'm a reliable, dependable person who values strong, and prompt communication. I keep things up front and appreciate honesty. I have worked with children of all ages, multiples and siblings. I have experience with infants, twins, young children (toddler/elementary) as well as school aged kids. I don't mind after school care in which help with homework is a requirement. I have taken part in raising my now FOUR year old God daughter who my world revolves around. Since she has been 3m old I have had her 2-3 days overnight each week. So if allowable, there may be times where she tags along with me. My open schedule allows me to have flexible availability. I've most recently worked with a family who have two children. A boy (4) and a girl(2) - who are now relocating. In addition to them, I did before care for an 8 year old girl, Read more and 2 year old girl. Unfortunately, I have had to resign from that position due to poor communication and lack of respect. I appreciate consistency and basic necessities to be available, and that just wasn't the case. Therefore, my availability is pretty much open, and I work on an "as needed" basis until someone agrees to a set schedule. First come, first serve. When I agree to a shift, there will be no issue with canceling or being late. I have reliable transportation with a clean driving record. Therefore travel is not an issue, and pick up/drop off is available. I consider myself a "Traveling nanny" because I have no biological children, yet keep a toddler carseat and booster in my car at all times, which makes "emergency" or "last minute" plans possible, as long as I have no other prior obligations. I have a dog of my own, so pets are fine by me! I treat my dog like she is part of the family, so I can assure you, your pet will be just as loved and cared for as your child(ren). I enjoy having fun and interacting with all kids. I do however believe in following the house rules and expectations. What is asked, is sure to be followed, whether it be homework, chores or a daily routine. As stated I like to have FUN. Inside playing games, doing crafts, playing with dolls/action figures and coloring or being outside, taking walks, going to the park and riding bikes (when weather permits) I pride myself in building strong relationships with each child I spend time with. Making sure they feel comfortable and secure is a top priority. I enjoy the process of teaching, and learning about them as individuals
