Hi! I'm Alexa and I'm from North Delaware. I was looking for a full time babysitting/nanny job. I have a lot of experience with infants-middle schoolers. I've babysat for a few families in the past and I also took care and watched my younger siblings growing up. I also have experience working as an assistant teacher to children from 1-6 years of age. I love working with kids and helping whenever I can. I'm pretty available throughout the day! I’m also CPR certified!

Alexa was with us for 4 days. Week 1 had its ups and downs, as expected being a transition for all of us. I felt Alexa was patient, she responded well to feedback and followed direction. I did feel she was trustworthy, but quiet and her interactions with our 2 year old could have been better. Alexa sat quietly next to her and watched her play while as opposed to really interacting and bonding with her. I thought it could have been because she was shy but nothing really improved throughout the week. She told me when we first connected she had preschool teaching experience so we expected a different kind of engagement. Ultimately, Monday rolled around and Alexa was no call, no show. Unresponsive to texts and shut her phone off. This caused, not only day but the following two work weeks and counting after to be in shambles; trying to manage working from home, taking care of two kids under 2, and trying to find RELIABLE help for the future all at the same time. A courtesy “this isn’t for me” would have sufficed and we could have at least prepared ahead for the new week. This action alone speaks volumes to Alexa’s character. Unreliable and uncommunicative.
