Hello! My name is Jewel and I am a passionate college student who loves working with children. I am currently spending my summer in DC as a middle school teacher and I am enjoying every minute of it. I have regularly volunteered with youth of all ages for the past five years serving as a caregiver, tutor, and mentor and it has been an incredibly rewarding experience. In addition to my volunteer experience I have hands-on experience in raising my twin little brothers so I am comfortable with handling multiple children at once. I am patient responsible and always ready for some fun and educational activities!
