My name is Gerashae Norman but people may also call me Gee. I am a college student currently in the Washington, DC area where I study marketing at Howard University. I have one little sister as well as a host of cousins that I had the liberty of caring for beginning from when I was about 13 years old and continuing throughout my teenage years until I moved away for college. I was born in Mississippi and raised in Indiana, graduating with academic honors from Bloomington High School North. I have worked professionally with young children as a therapeutic behavioral aide and a teacher’s assistant for students with learning disabilities. I have also worked as a direct support professional with adults who had different developmental disabilities ranging from Down’s syndrome to cerebral palsy. I have even worked with the elderly. I love working with children and cannot wait to have Read more my own someday! I am a creative person who would enjoy cooking, baking, arts and crafts, reading, board games and outside activities. My previous work experience has taught me effective crisis management, interpersonal and safety skills and I am excited to work with children again with SitterCity.
