I have 3 years experience as a SPED teacher in a private school for children with severe special needs and 18 years as a SPED teacher in public school. I currently look after a 2 year old girl with autism. I love children but retired due to frustration and overwhelming expectations with administration. I'm looking forward to working with 1 or 2 children rather than 12. I love kids of all ages and abilities but am no longer able to physically restrain students with aggressive and self abusive behaviors. I still have my teachers certification and am willing to assist with homework and school projects. I like to cook. I'm an excellent driver and have been CORI checked.
